Orphaned Molly lives on a barren island in an abandoned lighthouse with her grandparents, Ida and Eddie. As her fourteenth birthday approaches, she begins to discover that some things don't add up in the heroic tales she's heard about her parents. When Molly decides to face the truth of her parentage to escape her claustrophobic surroundings, painful past memories force Eddie and Ida to face the truth of their own relationship...
