Game Pie archiveA new English version of Monsieur Chasse by George Feydeau. A deceiving husband, a passionate wife, and a hapless lover - mix well and bake to perfection..."Leontine, your husband goes off hunting leaving you all alone for the night and I, his best friend, invite you to spend the evening with me. " "Listen, Moricet, when I got married, I promised to be faithful to my partner, and unless I find my husband breaking his promise, I shall never break mine." But Leontine soon discovers the game her husband goes hunting for is f the two legged variety, and Dr Moricet discovers that falling in love with a vengeful woman leads him into a minefield of absurd situations. As all three strive to lie their way out of the growing confusion, Feydeau, the master of comic infidelity, creates one of his most glorious plays of mounting mayhem.
