Our show, Folly, is a 45 minute piece of spoken word I, Sally Jenkinson, a poet, have written, with a fully-scored musical accompaniment played on acoustic guitar by musician and composer Nuala Honan. Simply, its narrative concerns a grumpy Yorkshire girl who drags her broken heart along the Mekong region of South East Asia, making mistakes and wondering what on earth all the other travellers are doing there. Planes, trains and cheap booze.
