Yes, they steam up and he can't see straight as he throws himself down a ninety foot ski-jump! Yes, he wears six pairs of socks inside hand-me-down ski-boots and can't fee his toes! And yes, he comes in last... but fearless Eddie the Eagle wins hearts and supporters around the world, and when our hero soars through the Calgary skies, he does it for all of us and we're right there with him... Written in liason with Eddie himself, we tell the heart-warming story of a local legend who found himself at the centre of a worldwide media frenzy, as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of his Olympic feats.
