Details

Five characters struggle against the circumscriptions of their identities in the previously unperformed Five Names. In Slowly four empresses face the prospect of their imminent deaths. These two plays by Howard Barker seek and wrestle for meaning within the challenging matrix of morality, sexuality and death which the theatre alone can offer.
