Fear archiveFear is everywhere. - Fear is nothing. - Fear is necessary. - Fear is nonsense. - Fear is outside my back door. - What is FEAR to you? FEAR is a radical performance arresting your senses. Our fears will become yours. You will forget your own and take on new ones. You will find pleasure in the pain. FEAR is not your average theatrical production. FEAR is a collective performance of individual expressions of FEAR through new texts and movements, exploring the performers' fictive, real and fantastical fears. The performers in this ensemble pursue their FEARs with brutal honesty, subtle humour and wild imagination. Co-created with a creative team of inter-media artists, a sublime aural and visual theatrical experience sharpens the senses, plays havoc with logic and investigates the animal response of Fight, Flight, Freeze and Fawn. FEAR is co-created by an ensemble of fourteen performers and creatives as part of Open Theatre Practice, a weekly experimental performance making workshop, open to the public, which runs as part of Outlandish Theatre Platform's arts, health and community residency at the Coombe Women and Infants University Hospital.
