This bold new adaptation juxtaposes Marlowe's subversive masterpiece alongside a daring contemporary narrative. In medieval Germany, Faustus makes his pact with the devil: in 21st-century Hoxton, avant-garde artists Jake and Dinos Chapman prepare a controversial and provocative new piece of work. As Faustus negotiates the dark arts and the Chapman brothers prepare to "rectify" a priceless set of Goya etchings, both are forced to confront the consequences of their actions.
