This acclaimed theatre piece is a collection of poems and songs portraying characters who have live, died and been affected by the AIDS epidemic. using both the Names Project quilt and Edgar Lee Masters Spoon River Anthologies as sources of inspiration, Elegies finds, within such frightening and devastating human suffering, an unwavering sense of humanity, humour, humility and determination to survive and live life to the full. Proceeds to Brentwood Theatre's 'dressing room fund' and The Elton John Aids Foundation.
