Edward III archiveOnly officially attributed to Shakespeare in 1998, Edward III chronicles the beginning of the 100 Years War and acts as a prequel to Richard II. The Royal Shakespeare Company will present a special play reading of a 400 year old play only recently recognised as the work of William Shakespeare. Edward III is acknowledged as the 39th play in the Shakespearean canon, which the RSC stage as part of its Royal Charter.
