Early Days (of a better nation) archiveThe war is over and the nation lies in ruins. You and your fellow survivors must build the beginnings of a new country. What are the rules you're going to live by? And can you avoid the mistakes of the past? A piece of interactive theatre for a playing audience, Early Days (of a better nation) explores the possibilities of nationhood and democracy, drawing inspiration from the 2011 England riots, Arab Spring, Iceland's crowd-sourced constitution and the rise (and fall) of Occupy. Early Days is presented as a part of Parliament Week 2014, a programme of events that connect people across the UK with Parliament and democracy.
