The Blue Road - I remember the darkness - I remember the silence - I remember the water rising. The forest. The wake on an unnamed crisis. A group of young people work to make sense of what happened, whast it means, and what they will do now. The Blue Road is an exciting new play by acclaimed writer Laura Lomas exploring memory, loss, living in the aftermath and our capacity to begin again. Commissioned by Dundee Rep, Derby Theatre, Royal and Derngate and Theatre Royal Plymouth; this inspiring project will see The Blue Road performed for the first time in four venues across the UK this summer. Home - My house is what I've chosen, the people I have chosen to be with, the places I have chosen to be. Taking inspiration from The Blue Road by Laura Lomas and drawing on personal and political stories from neasr and far, this new performance will explore what home means to us in 2017.
