Divine Damnation archiveJo Wallace has died, she doesn't realise this however until The Grim Reaper turns up suited and booted at the end of her bed. The Reaper explains that he is there to assess her life and deliver her to Heaven or Hell depending on how she defends her sins. Jo is taken on a journey very similar to Ebeneezer Scrooge's in a Christmas Carol but things have changed since then. A Day in the Death is a modern twist on a famous classic and also depicts the afterlife as a well-oiled machine in coalition with Heaven and Hell.
