Their friendship was messy, intense, unconventional and profound. Through their lives, they wrote over 400 letters to each other, spanning decades, continents, political eras. These are their words. Throughout the run, different actors will take on the roles of poets Elizabeth Bishop and Robert Lowell, who sent over 400 correspondences to one another over the course of their lives.
