Danny has had a tough day and is trying to enjoy a solitary drink in a bar in The Bronx when his world is interrupted by Roberta, a downtrodden single parent who carries a huge secret, leaving her feeling worthless and unlovable. The unlikely union of this spirited, streetwise, stormy pair is gritty and sincere - a harsh emotional insight into real people with real issues to overcome in a surreal world.
