Phew, what a carry on! On the set of
Cleo, Ken is screaming blue murder at the state of his dressing room while Sid, in his brand new caravan, turns his attention from his naive dresser to a Nubian handgirl. Then in walks Babs, 'The New Girl' and future Mrs Ronnie Knight, turning Sid's world on its head. This play, originally entitled
Cleo, Camping, Emmanuelle and Dick] was first staged at the Royal National Theatre and won the Olivier Award for Best Comedy in 1999. It was then adapted and directed by Terry Johnson as a film for ITV under the title
Cor, Blimey!.
