In the chilly dawn after an intense night of illicit passion, Angie and Reed find themselves embroiled in a fraught discussion confronting questions related to intimacy, consent, and sexual assault. As the two characters contest the truth of what happened the night before, a major gap between their understanding of the situation - and the meaning of consent - is exposed. C'mon Angie! is an intimate drama exploring the aftermath of a one-night-stand. The audience is invited the to ponder the relentlessly problematic and ever-current predicaments of sexual responsibility, truth and power. The play deals with dialogue around sexual consent, coercion and the theme of sexual assault between familiar partners.
