Cincinnati archiveSusan is a university lecturer in her late thirties. Her perceptive and humorous lecture on the philosophy of literature gives way to a manic and desperate battle against the demons only she can see. It emerges that the source of this anguish is the violent death of her daughter, which destroyed a happy family existence back in Cincinnati. Now on her own and obsesses with grief, she struggles with philosophical theories which she once held comfortably - ideas about death, suffering and the real existence of other people. Compelling, heartbreaking and courageous, Cincinnati is a multi award winning play from NY based Clancy Productions.
