A Brighton beach hut. August 1962. Laurence Olivier is hosting an illustrious beach party. His guests are his neighbours, playwright Terence Rattigan, and comedian Max Miller. Three men at crucial points in their lives. Under a scorching sun, they talk - about health, wealth and golf; the West End stage, Noel Coward and Shakespeare; Marilyn Monroe and Tommy Trinder - And Brighton. As the sun goes down behind the pier, each realises the few hours they have spent together have changed their lives forever.
