Details
Welcome to the 28th annual "Geoffrey Chaucer Tale-telling Competition." Residents of the villages of Portswood and Swaythling vie to present their favourite tale, be it noble or lewd, to win the prize in the competition. The village elders have tried to make sure the noble win - but have reckoned without the Miller! The words may be modern in this adaptation but the tales and their delivery remain true to Chaucer in all his richness, variety and downright rudeness! You, the audience, get to vote for your favourite tale and award the prize - so be ready for the 'clapometer' at the end of the play.
