Caesar - Bath Fringe Festival archiveDeveldick Productions will be presenting 'CAESAR a brand new production inspired by William Shakespeare s Julius Caesar and the history and legend of Aqua Sulis on June 9th and 10th as part of the Bath Fringe Festival. This innovative new production owes a lot to the inspiration and vision of director Blair Ruddick collaborating with writer Anne-Teresa Miller and a lively cast. It promises to be an evening of mystery, conspiracy - awe inspiring visuals and excellent new music. There is also a chance for schools and other groups to get involved as the show comes complete with a full integrated workshop programme suitable for ages 14 and above. The writer and members of the cast will take their production to schools and any keen theatre groups. After an intense session based around the themes of the play the students will get a chance to perform in the production. Many of the actors toured a successful workshop programme with the Theatre Royal Bath Young People s Theatre production of 'Taming Of The Shrew as part of the Shakespeare Festival and the author is an experienced tutor on the aspects of creative writing and how Shakespeare translates today.
