Details

Edinburgh, 1827. People are disappearing from the streets. The police are baffled but medical science is advancing at a miraculous rate. Enter Burke and Hare, the Laurel and Hardy of the morgues. This plays takes a fresh look at a most unusual double act and their unlikely supporting cast: the doctor who funds their murderous ways; the inspector who unwittingly gets caught up in their web of deceit, and other accomplices.
