Details
Bruce and Prudence meet through the personal ads. Their first date is a disaster and they rush to see their therapists. Prudence's macho therapist, Stuart, urges her to be more assertive: he once seduced her and tries again, but can't handle her rejection. Bruce's wacky therapist, Charlotte, who has meaningful conversations with her stuffed toys, persuades him to revise his profile and meet another woman. By chance, Prudence answers the ad, and this time the date goes better and a relationship seems possible. But Bruce's male lover, Bob, isn't happy with him dating women, Stuart can't leave Prudence alone, and Charlotte just can't help turning up and adding to the confusion.
