Bedtime Story: Jo Mulligan is every Dublin's mother's dream, hard working and respectable, attending mass every Sunday and avoiding all tomfoolery. One night everything goes awry when he invites the flighty young Angela Nightingale back to his flat. Heaven forbid that his landlady finds out. The End of the Beginning: Darry Berill, a farmer, challenges his harried wife Lizzie to a life swap for a day. He sets about the household chores and she sets out to mow the field. And with his near-sighted neighbour Barry he will surely get the work done in half the time. Or will he?
