Details
The setting is an all-night coffee shop on New York's upper Broadway, where the riff-raff, the bums, the petty thieves, the lost and the desperate of the big city come together. The result is a fast-paced song of hope and despair tempered by humour. Decayed, neglected, forgotten, inhabited by pimps, alchos, junkies and prostitutes, this is the seedy world of King's Cross trapped in a play.
