Details

This visual and dynamic interpretation of Euripides' most controversial drama examines morality and public order. A new cult attracts the suspicion of the authorities, but their attempts to ban it lead to unforeseen and chilling consequences. The parallels with today - mass suicides in Waco, Sarin gas attacks on Tokyo's underground - are clear.
