Jeremy, the student-turned-father from a one night stand, is one of the many unexpected characters to be thrust into the weird and wonderful community of the Parent and Baby Group; Steve keeps feeding Suzi bananas and is eager for her to have pregnant friends, especially charming, capable Camilla, the group's star pupil. Hippy Paige wants a home birth accompanied by the calming music of Bjork, slightly at odds with epidural-set Stacey, the single mum with a razor sharp tongue on her second kid. There's also Nadine, tearing her way up the career ladder, trying to fit her C-section into her diary, and Emma, the ultimate yummy mummy, as toddler puppets run riot and create mutiny with toys and biscuits...an are stuck in an airport in Siberia. Sounds like the start of a joke. At least we can expect a punchline at the end. Running time approx. 75mins (no interval)
