Details
A lively three-act farce set in late 18th-century Paris, Animal Magnetism's quick-witted dialogue targets phoney medical practice and outmoded attitudes to women. Locked up against her will and courted by her guardian, Constance's love for the Marquis de Lancy may not run smooth, but it appears to run magnetically on the appearance of a mysterious doctor with a magic wand.
