Details
Orwell's tale of oppression, revolution and betrayal set amongst the animals in a farm. One of the most important books of the 20th Century. Mr Jones is forced to abandon his farm by his mistreated animals and the opportunities for a new life and afresh start where all animals are equal seems like an exciting new dawn. But gradually the promises crumble to reveal a regime of propaganda and force as some animals emerge more equal than others. This adaptation of Animal Farm is a young boy's bedtime story, telling the tale of how the neglected farm animals, led by the Pigs, rebel against their evil farmer and set up their own equal society. Well, sort of, because the Pigs' power-crazed leader, Napoleon, has declared that "all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others."
