Performance art meets storytelling in this unusual and warmly interactive piece where we pour a cuppa and ask - when push comes to shove, what really matters? Angel Cake is an exciting new collaboration between director Amy Draper, cult cabaret performer Rhyannon Styles and designer Ele Slade. Starting its life as a ten-minute work in progress showing at BAC's Freshly Scratched, it was further developed for CPT's Sprint festival in March. Now it returns as a full-length immersive show that hopes to be funny, poignant, surreal and a celebration of all that life throws at us.
