Shirking the traditional and obvious, this band of budding thesps decided to take on the big one! Ridley Scott's ALIEN. This little known show quickly gained a cult following, their short-run in Dorset left their London fans wanting more. So, from a community hall in Wimbourne to the West End, for one show only, we bring you, Alien- the stage adaption! The opening sequence is quietly poetic. The special effects are ingenious. Hearing Dorset accents delivering Americanised techno-babble is wonderful. The whole thing is simultaneously baffling, hilarious and admirable. Think 'The Office' meets 'Be Kind Rewind', in outer space. hasn't even come close to this perfect slice of genius!
