Details

An absorbing and funny account of the Bohemian life in London. Set on the eve of the 1945 General Election, in a drinking club run by a world-weary hostess. The members gather to drink and variously, escape, dream, seek, bitch, mock and destroy in this fascinating evocation of Bohemian life in London.
