Details
Satirical expose of the music industry by the writer of the 2001 hit 'The Age of Consent'. Ricky Roe is a wannabe rock-star living in Boston with his girlfriend Anna. When he takes a call from Damian Petron, Artist and Repertoire Executive at Polymer Records, he thinks Damian is the answer to his dreams. But Damian isn't interested in Ricky's demo tape; to him Ricky is a typical talentless nobody. Ricky is an easy target...seduced by the promise of fame, of being bigger than Michael Jackson. And when Anna begins to suspect Damian's motives, Ricky must choose between love and his so-called career. What follows is a black comedy about seduction and corruption in the music industry by the award-winning playwright Peter Morris.
