Details
A moving play about the love of homeland felt by a generation of Black people from the islands which make up the Caribbean - a generation which left the mother country, and often their hearts, in search of a new life. Many found economic hardship, isolation, racism, and harassment, and were sustained only by dreams of returning home.
A Caribbean Abroad poses the question of what it is in the Caribbean spirit that calls them back, perhaps to an uncertain future.
