Talk to Me Like the Rain and Let Me Listen by Tennessee Williams contrasts the grim reality of the man's life with the aching beauty of the woman's dreams.. The Saliva Milkshake by Howard Brenton was originally a 1970s TV play - a taut drama following a political assassination. The Ruffian on the Stair by Joe Orton is a black comedy set in a seedy London bedsit, steeped in "filth" of all kinds. Enjoy all four of these in a great evening of one-act plays.
