10:18 from Hull - Young Writers Festival archive5 nights of original plays. One train, three characters and twenty heart-stopping minutes. Where are the characters going? Where are they coming from? Each night will provide the answers. The 10:18 from Hull project was created to celebrate the opening of Hull Truck's new Studio Theatre, giving a creative voice to young writers aged 10-18 from across the city. After attending writing workshops, scripts were submitted and the selected plays were chosen. Different plays will be presented on each night and the cast will change for each short play giving lots of our Youth Theatre members a chance to perform. Each young playwright was given the same format: up to three characters, a train journey and a twenty minute running time. The rest was up to their imaginations!
