Over recent years the Traverse Theatre Election Day Specials have become something of an Edinburgh tradition. Funny, thought provoking and boisterous they've proved popular with curious punters and hardened politicos alike. This year will be no exception. Presented by David Greig, Sarah Beattie Smith and Christopher Silver Two Minute Manifesto is a mix of music, poetry, analysis, ideas and chat. In each of our two shows (afternoon and evening), two special guests bring their own personal manifesto ideas to the stage - serious, silly, thoughtful or pointed, but presented in two minutes flat. These ideas are then analysed by our team of experts and voted on by you, our audience. On top of that we'll have music from some of Scotland's top singer songwriters, the spikiest poets from Edinburgh's spoken word scene and analysis from some of Scotland's best bloggers, as well as our own in-house master of all thing psephological, James Kelly of Scot Goes Pop. So bring your red lines, iron out your policy differences, buff up your rosettes and come down to the Traverse and join us for Two Minute Manifesto this Election Day.
