A programme of the poetry, letters and memoirs of D.H. and Frieda Lawrence. From a chance meeting in Germany to their final move to Toulon in France, their eloquent poetry and letters encapsulate the flavour of the countries they visit, and touch on their personal vulnerabilities, their struggle in the face of hostility and, above all, the strength of their relationship. This is a Benefit for Spelsbury Memorial Hall and The Oxford Playhouse.
