Rehearsed Reading. Plots, deceptions and hidden desires abound amongst a group of visitors to a fashionable Bath guesthouse. Edward and Lucy, young, rich and in love, look set to be corrupted not only by the two unscrupulous fortune-hunters in pursuit of them, but also by the greed of their parents. A witty and daring comedy of manners, it features the gloriously inept Mrs Tryfort - prototype for Mrs Malaprop in The Rivals. This Rehearsed Reading will be its English Premiere.
