Gwaith is a site-specific installation and performance that reflects the activities cultivated by TRACE install-action in Cardiff. TRACE will perform a series of interventions on the Eisteddfod field utilising a specially constructed 1:1 scaled replica of the ‘domestic’ TRACE artspace. The artists will collectively engage with this rebuilt environment, making interventions on its structure. References to locations and conditions in and around Cardiff are displaced and relocated to the ‘maes’ creating multi-layered investigations. Eisteddfod visitors will be given full access to experience the ‘live’ activity and the resulting installation, evidence and residual traces of the performances
