8 storytellers perform 15 shows over 9 days at the Tristan Bates Theatre in London. The Crick Crack Club joins forces with the Tristan Bates Theatre to present Gods and Monsters - a heady concoction of full-length performances by established artists, new voice double-bills and family matinees. With nothing up their sleeves but humour, romance, poetry and suspense, these magicians conjure urban fairytales, remixed Greek myths and full blooded wondertales with deceptive ease. Highlights include Ben Haggarty’s adaptation of Frankenstein, Xanthe Gresham’s divinely bizarre exploration of goddesses and Katy Cawkwell’s beautiful mythological journey, Rhiannon. Welcome to intoxicating cinema of the imagination!
