Traditional pantomime story. There's nothing better than wearing bright green tights and doing daring deeds with your best friends! Robin Hood lives in the depths of Sherwood Forest, robbing from the rich and giving to the poor. Bravely and without a thought for his own life, he fights against the nasty Sheriff of Nottingham who has been taxing the poor people of Nottingham dry while good King Richard is away. When his beloved Marian is imprisoned by the dastardly Sheriff, Robin sets off to rescue her with the aid of his Merry Men and King Richard's runaway children... but is it a trap? Look out Robin! Every year the Playhouse brings the young and old alike the traditional delight of a good old-fashioned pantomime. This year will be no exception; expect to see gallant deeds, gorgeous costumes, giggles aplenty and a barrow-load of gung-ho, all without the aid of an ex-reality TV star!
