'The Pirates of Penzance (or the Slave of Duty)' is probably the most humorous of the Gilbert and Sullivan operettas, with tuneful melodies and well known songs, Poor Wandering One, I Am The Very Model of a Modern Major General, The Sergeant of Police and Policeman's Chorus. This production is also being performed Friday June 16th - Lapworth Village Hall at 20:00, Saturday June 17th at Stratford Civic Hall at 19:30 and Sunday June 18th at Spencer Park, Coventry (open air) at 19:00. Tickets for the Lapworth production are available from Rebecca Northmore on 07970 478390 and for Stratford are available from the Civic Hall Box Office: 01789 207 100 or https://secure.civichall.co.uk/booking.html. Spencer Park is free on the door and the Warwick Arts Centre performance is free but tickets must be booked from the Box Office.
