Details

The Bay of Algiers is in for a rough ride when the lovely Isabella is shipwrecked on his shores. Quick-witted and resolute, she soon twists the besotted potentate round her finger in her quest to escape with her lover Lindoro, occasionally sabotaged by her admirer, Taddeo. Things come to a head when she enrols her compliant captor in a nonsensical Masonic order whose members' motto is eat up and shut up. Sung in Italian with English captions.
