The god Jupiter is captivated by Semele's intoxicating beauty in a dramatic love story of the divine and the mortal. It cannot last, and Semele suffers the consequences. For the first time, Ensemble OrQuesta will bring one of their opera academies to The Cockpit, featuring singers from all over the world, in the early stages of their professional career. This academy will present a new fully staged production of Handel's Semele performed in English.
