Based on the 13th century narrative Renart le nouvel by Jacquemart Gielee. Unsung for over 600 years, Renard the Fox chronicles the amorous adventures of a foxy predator. Mixing medieval motet with spoken word, Renard the Fox is both forerunner of modern opera and a celebration of early music. Convivio offer an innovative interpretation of Jacquemart's 13th century French narrative. A work in progress.
