Alejandro Vinao takes Akutagawa's murder mystery story and fashions a haunting and moving piece for tape and five voices. A Samurai's wife is murdered and those involve offer their conflicting versions. British Premiere. A screening of Akira Kurosawa's celebrated 1950 film Rashomon follows the performance.
