Details

An opera about the "Dirty Duchess", Margaret, the Duchess of Argyll which was first performed in Cheltenham in 1998 with Jill Gomez in the leading role and went on to be banned by ClassicFM as too raunchy. The opera covers the life of this remarkable woman whose sexual exploits were the stuff of scandal and gossip. The opera is explicit in its language and detail. Please note that this performance may not be suitable for children.
