Details
The story begins with the wedding of Orfeo, a musician of almost magical power, to Euridice. The announcement of Euridice's sudden death cuts the wedding celebrations brutally short. For Orfeo, who had loved her for so long, the news is almost beyond endurance. He resolves to do the seemingly impossible: to return her to life, at whatever the cost. New Production.
