This opera buffa was the first of Mozart's operas to be performed all over Europe and was premiered just before his nineteenth birthday. The original text was lost until 1978. Intrigue and farce unfold as the Countess, disguises herself as a gardener in order to seek out her long-lost lover. Sung in Italian with English surtitles. Approx running time 3 hours 30 minutes.
