Details

The Girl of the Golden West is a fast-moving tale of love, jealousy, gambling, banditry and violence and their effect on a tight knit community. Despite the odds, the intrepid and resourceful frontierswoman Minnie gets her feller. Highly dramatic and brilliantly orchestrated La fanciulla del West was first staged in New York in 1910. It followed close on the heels of Puccini's huge success with Madama Butterfly. Lasts approx. 2hrs 30mins. Sung in Italian with English titles.
